Ca in fiecare an pentru Premiile Oscar stilistii muncesc din greu cautand in cele mai noi colectii sau in arhive rochii si bijuterii care sa le faca pe vedetele invitate sa straluceasca, sa arate impecabil si sa ajunga in lista celor bine imbracati.
Preferatele mele in acest an sunt:
Nicole Kidman in Dior haute couture, diamante vintage Fred Leighton si pantofi Pierre Hardy

Gwyneth Paltrow a optat pentru o rochie minimalista,care ii urmareste linia corpului, semnata Calvin Klein Collection la care a adaugat Louis Vuitton high jewelry

Anne Hathaway a sosit la ceremonie intro-o rochie de un rosu aprins vintage Valentino couture, cu trandafiri aplicati, accesorizata cu diamante Tiffany & Co.

Fashion Inspiration- Selena Gomez Teen Vogue Cover

I am not sure about how often Teen Vogue are putting Disney stars on the cover of their magazine (remember Zac Efron, Vanessa Anna Hudgens and Miley Cyrus?) but I think Selena was a good choice.

She seems really down to earth and is obviously gorgeous but mainly I love the styling of this photo shoot with the masses of pearls, girly necklaces and florals against Doc Marten style boots and tough belts.

VINTAGE & AMERICANA

I was about to get myself Gina Holdar's book A-Z of Classic American Clothing, but Ina was quicker and got it to me for Christmas!

It's a good book for anyone interested in American clothing, Americana, or just clothes and also vintage in general, as it is full of useful things to know as well as fun facts. You can get the book via americana.se. The author, based in Sweden, also runs Americana Classic Vintage, and a web store will launch later this month. Americana classic vintgae can also be seen at Helsinki Vintage this weekend.
